American singer Britney Spears and her partner Sam Asghari recently announced the loss of their miracle baby.
According to a report by ENews, this loss happens one month after the couple announced that they were expecting a child.
This announcement of the loss was made through a joint statement issued by the couple on Instagram where they confirmed that they had lost their little one “early in the pregnancy”.
“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,” Britney and Sam wrote on May 14. “This is a devastating time for any parent.”
The couple went on to say too that they perhaps “should have waited to announce until we were further along” in the pregnancy before sharing. That said, they said they were “overly excited to share the good news” with other people in the world at the time.
Several celebrities like Andy Cohen, Gabrielle Union and Christina Perri offered support in the comment section. Christina Perri for one, wrote “So sorry”.
In his post, Britney’s partner Sam commented by saying “We will have a miracle soon”.
The pair who got engaged last September also said that they both still plan to “expand our beautiful family” in the future.
